Malay & Indian Culture in need

So, this is another use of blog and hopefully it will makes my life easier.

As the title says, I need more information about Malay & Indian cultural for my Malaysian Studies' project. We are supposed to have an event introducing the culture of the three main races in this nation, i.e Malay, Chinese and Indian. No problem for Chinese part, but the other two, hehe... Too bad to say that I hardly got Malay or Indian friends so here I am looking for help.

So, what I would need is their costume (of the three races) for a small fashion show. Next we would like to have some performance representing each culture. For Chinese, we will be performing Chinese Yo-yo and if possible, join us in the performance. Outsourcing is allowed. However, we still need more information for the other two, so provide me with some of their traditional dances or any performance that are easy for dummies like me. After all, we don't have much time to practice and it is just a short event, last for 30 minutes at most. In addition, if so happened that you are interested to perform you can join us ya! Admission is free. Lolx..

With the publicity of my blog, I wonder how much feedback I would receive but do leave me a comment or send a mail to me if you got any ideas, your feedback is definitely highly appreciated. Thanks profoundly ('',)

L.O.S.T

Staying up late in such a late hour, or in the early morning not because of assignments, merely because I'm lost. In what sense? I don't know... Just lost, as simple as that.

Enjoying the serenity of the darkness and hoping that dawn will never come. Weird, for the first time in my life having such thinking. Maybe I should learn the art of silence...

Just don't pry on this issue, as I'm not being emo nor I'm down, just LOST. Even if you do so, I might not know how to answer, because I'm L.O.S.T. Lost in a sense that I want to be alone for a day or two, and I will be fine.

Yeah, just lost... Like a man suddenly lost his eye-sight, not knowing where he is and where's the future. Get what I mean? Bet you don't. Anyway, I will be fine and smiles will soon hang on my face again, I promise. Not to anyone, but myself.

Lights off and candles on

A time for some romances amidst the hectic life, let's support the - Earth Hour - At 8:30pm on Saturday 28 March.

See, how beautiful the earth is?

Here are 10 different ways to spend Earth Hour and reduce your carbon footprint given by Earth Hour:
1. Attend a local Earth Hour event or organise your own by throwing an Earth Hour street party with your neighbours
2. Gather family & friends for a night picnic in your local park and look at the stars
3. Enjoy a family dinner by candlelight
4. Organise a treasure hunt in the dark
5. Take the dog for a night walk
6. Have a candle-lit bath
7. Sit in the dark and share stories
8. Organise a family night playing board games
9. Share a romantic night in with your loved one
10. Upload your ‘on the night’ photos and videos to flickr and YouTube respectively, and then add them to the Earth Hour flickr group and the global YouTube Group.

Well, it seems like there is a chance to lit the candle and have some hand shadows, just like what we used to do when we were young during electricity failure...But I got assignments to do! Alright, stop all nonsense and start doing them...

Get to know myself better

Your view on yourself:

You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.
[Hmm... In fact, if I made up my mind, it is almost impossible to change it without a better reasoning or fact.]

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.
[ To a certain degree, yup... But attractive?! Lolx...]

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You prefer to get to know a person very well before deciding whether you will commit to the relationship. [Absolutely!]

The seriousness of your love:

You like to flirt and behave seductively. The opposite sex finds this very attractive, and that's why you'll always have admirers hanging off your arms. But how serious are you about choosing someone to be in a relationship with? [Huh?! Mana ada?]

Your views on education

Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.
[Not during my secondary school & primary school, and for now, it is my last chance to be in school, so work harder lo!]

The right job for you:

You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

How do you view success:

You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous. [Hohoho...]

What are you most afraid of:

You are afraid of things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how you feel. [My emotional management is better nowadays, though still got a long way to go.]

Who is your true self:

You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

If I were...

If I were a good brother, how good would it be;
If I were an obedience son, I think I could understand;
If I were perfect, I won't make mistakes in the first place;
If I were a wise man, I would know the best way to solve conflicts;

But I am just me...
